and other wise, we use and recommend to our clients when we are defending

Story - One client's story following

of the two daughters he was "alleged" to have molested. The court ordered
any future visitation between his wife and his daughters to be supervised
and his wife was ordered to pay him child support and nearly 1/2 of his legal
fees for making false allegations. A true success story from beginning to

Expert
Testimony - Excluding some expert
testimony that could be used against a falsely accused. Many state experts,

the profile of a sexually molested child. There is no such profile and that
testimony served no purpose other than inflaming the jury against the
accused.
-
Child
Suggestibility - The suggestibility
of a child witness. A defense attorney must know what they are dealing with
regarding a child witness, the number of times that child was interviewed,
etc. In some cases, multiple interviews by inexperienced examiners can actually

Court
Evaluations - Court ordered child
evaluations. If the state is using an expert psychologist, it may benefit
the defense to petition the court to order an independent evaluation.

that just because a child recanted an allegation, their problem is over.
In some cases, nothing could be further from the truth.
-
Treatment
PreTrial - Should a child accuser
be treated as a "victim" prior to trial? When a child makes an allegation,
they are a complainant, not a victim. Treating them as a victim, in many
cases, serves only as a means of having the child allege additional
allegations.
