deals with present public image, the professional officer, education, attitude,
uniform and personal appearance, chain of command, post assignment and
responsibilities, initial round, general instructions, emergency procedures,

Law deals with crime, tort, crime classifications, parties to crimes, duty

revolvers, automatics, riot guns, safety features, loading and unloading,
cleaning, regulations, firing procedure.

Basic Investigations
deals with why investigation, preliminary work, evidence and care of,

records, statements, admissions and confessions, photography, diagrams, various
investigative procedures.

First Aid deals with why
first aid, the heart and brain, the blood and circulatory system, respiratory
system, skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system and vital body
functions, airway obstruction, control of bleeding, shock, unconscious states,
heart attacks, strokes, chest wounds, abdominal wounds, internal injuries, head
injuries, eye injuries, burns, chemical burns, diabetes, allergic reactions,
poisoning, convulsions, electrical accidents, drowning, impaled objects, carbon
monoxide poisoning, fractures and dislocations, splinting, soft tissue

deals with classes of fires, hoses, nozzles, extinguishing agents, types of
portable extinguishers; water, soda and acid, foam, dry powder, liquified gas
(C02), operation of portable extinguishers and fighting specific types of
fires.
