• Introduction to Security deals with present public image, the professional officer, education, attitude, uniform and personal appearance, chain of command, post assignment and responsibilities, initial round, general instructions, emergency procedures, strike situations, picket lines, civil disturbances, crowd control, traffic control, reporting procedure, post manuals and log books.

• Basic Civil and Criminal Law deals with crime, tort, crime classifications, parties to crimes, duty to assist law enforcement, burglary, larceny, robbery, citizen's arrest, use of force, self defense, rights of accused, rights of an officer, citizen's search, court appearance.

• Weapons deal with revolvers, automatics, riot guns, safety features, loading and unloading, cleaning, regulations, firing procedure.

• Basic Investigations deals with why investigation, preliminary work, evidence and care of, protecting crime scenes, accident scenes and/or incident scenes, reports, records, statements, admissions and confessions, photography, diagrams, various investigative procedures.

• First Aid deals with why first aid, the heart and brain, the blood and circulatory system, respiratory system, skeletal system, muscular system, nervous system and vital body functions, airway obstruction, control of bleeding, shock, unconscious states, heart attacks, strokes, chest wounds, abdominal wounds, internal injuries, head injuries, eye injuries, burns, chemical burns, diabetes, allergic reactions, poisoning, convulsions, electrical accidents, drowning, impaled objects, carbon monoxide poisoning, fractures and dislocations, splinting, soft tissue injuries, amputations, initial and secondary survey, diagnosis, moving the victim, the mental or intoxicated patient, the drug victim and legal responsibilities.

• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation deals with techniques and procedures while training with a mannequin.

• Fire Fighting Training deals with classes of fires, hoses, nozzles, extinguishing agents, types of portable extinguishers; water, soda and acid, foam, dry powder, liquified gas (C02), operation of portable extinguishers and fighting specific types of fires.
